Challenge yourself on this adventure of a lifetime as you cycle 390 kilometres over 12 days, and experience the many diverse faces and scenes of Cambodia. Explore Cambodia’s recent history with a city tour of Phnom Penh, discover the charm and tranquillity of the smaller coastal towns of Kep and Kampot in the south, and marvel at the beauty and splendour of Angkor Wat. You will also get to take part in an inaugural team cycling event in Cambodia's second-largest city, Battambang. The tour cost is $2,355.

This is a charity tour with each rider (numbers are limited) to raise $3,000 to support and grow the work of SeeBeyondBorders with Cambodian schoolchildren and improving their education. It is a unique opportunity in that as well as visiting the major attractions of the country you will get to go off the beaten track and meet locals and children in a non tourist environment, as well as actively participate in programs in three different schools - in health, sports and bike maintenance.

The Challenge is in February 2015 - please visit seebeyondborders.org/cycle-challenge or email [email protected] for more information.

Would have been so nice to take part of it. Never been to Cambodia, and surely I would like to go someday. The best part is that it was for charity, so I hope you guys had gather the money you needed. I'm going to check out your link, because I would like to see pictures about it, all those riders with amazing Cambodia attractions on the background, that must be just great.

I don't think I have the money for that expensive tour but I will bear that in mind if ever we go to Cambodia. We travel frequently to Asian countries and last year we had 7 trips. Cambodia is in our bucket list although we are still scouting for more information about the country. And maybe if we finally get a plane ticket then I will check on that place to visit. Thanks for the information. By the way, the destination airport is Siem Reap.

I'd love to visit the temples and various sights of Cambodia and I have a lot of friends who love biking in the Cambodia roads.

Cycling 390 km over 12 days, eh? That's quite the adventure you're embarking on! I can already see you, sweaty and exhausted, but with a huge grin on your face as you conquer each challenging km. And let's not forget the beautiful sights you'll encounter along the way - Phnom Penh's history, the tranquil coastal towns, and the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat. Plus, taking part in an inaugural team cycling event in Battambang? Sounds like a blast! Just remember to take it easy on the $2,355 tour cost - nobody's good enough for your hard-earned cash! *wink* But in all seriousness, have an amazing time and ride for a great cause! ;)
