Coyote Sports, Inc. operates in two industry segments: the company
designs, engineers, manufactures, markets and distributes branded sports
equipment products and designs, engineers, manufactures and distributes
advanced composite materials. The sports equipment segment bicycle
tubing, golf shafts, bicycle components for OEM's and the aftermarket.
The advanced composite materials segment basically produces advanced
materials for sporting goods manufacturers, preimpregnated graphite and
woven fabrics. The company has 400 customers basically located in United
States and Europe, Callaway and Cobra are the major customers. The
company acquired West Coast Composites and Unifiber Corporation in 1998.
The company has incurred $30,000 to date towards Year 2000 project.
Sports equipment accounted for 90% of 1998 revenues and advanced
materials, 10%.
There was also a Coyote Ultralight company, which was based in the UK.
They are gone, too.
