I'm planning to walk the Dales Way inluding the Leeds Link but have
conflicting info on total length:
Walking Englishman website - 93.1 miles
Paul Hannon 'Dales Way' book - 105 miles
Anthony Burton 'The Dales Way' book - 96 miles
Key for me is to know a reliable distance between stops!

Anyone know the most accurate source of info?

Ilkley -> Burnsall, good day's walk.
Burnsall -> Hubberholme, good day's walk.
Hubberholme -> Dent, long day's walk.
Dent -> Sedburgh, half day.
Sedburgh -> Burneside, half day.
Burneside -> Bowness, half day.

People start from different places and may or may not include diversions to accommodation etc., but
using Memory Map, the Leeds Link from Woodhouse (SE293350) to the river bridge in Ilkley is 20
miles. The Dales Way from the Ilkley bridge to Bowness (SD404968) is 77.3 miles.

Thanks for the info. I suspected that the Burton book is more accutate
based on previous experience of the Cleveland Way. What you say appears
to confirm it.

I walked the Dales way in March, and measured the distance from Ilkley
to Windermere was 81.8 miles using my GPD (although this did include a
couple of diversions off-route to visit pubs and suchlike).

My write-up of th walk is at:

I hope that you enjoy the trip; it is a super walk with lots of varied
scenery.
