okay i admit, this article is a year old. I'm a little late to the game. oh well!

anyways this is about a bike engineer in Toronto who makes bamboo-frame bikes. its amazing. http://torontoist.com/2012/05/bikes-of-bamboo/

anyone know of other bike wizards/engineers building bikes out of non-metal materials?

Calfee, Boo.... There also a number of companies making wood frames, companies like Renovo.
