1994 dumbass. What's your problem with his win? He was a very strong rider on good days.

Quoted message said:Quoted message said:In 1994. Followed by a Liege-Bastogne-Liege where Berzin wins from a 6 rider group: Armstrong,
Furlan, Chiapucci, della Santa, Rominger. The guy that made the most in prize money from that
race was Ferrari, although he didn't get a stake in Armstrong until the following year. But his
stamp on that race was large."It seems to be much more difficult this year for some reason. There's a lot of guys that go much
faster this year. I'm just as fit and feel just as good as last year, but my strength within the
peloton has sort of gone down. A lot of riders are stronger." - Armstrong, in Lille at the start
of the 1994 Tour.I don't doubt that Berzin was EPO'd out, but that hardly qualifies as the best drugged
performance ever.
Yest but look at it this way, it was maybe the reason Armstrong gave Doc' Ferrari a ring...

if one were to say Pantani's Tour win, then there is good liklihood he was doping, like maybe
80%. So if it was a 70% of maximum dominant performance, then that would be Doping Dominant Score
of 150.WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS?

doping...but not much info ever came out. She died in her sleep. However I recently read that she
tried to make a comeback in marathoning (the complete opposite of sprinting) and that her comeback
failed. Her death sounded suspiciously like all those euro pros who died while sleeping (and
probably had taken EPO).
Euro pros who died in their sleep? You mean like Tony Simpson ?
The Best Drugged Performance Ever, easy. It was the U.S. team at the 1984 Olympics. This is all well
documented. I believe that the track sprinters were the only ones that did not partake.

for confirmed cases of drugging, that has to be the most dominant performance ever. In
particular there was a stage 3 that was this slightly uphill finish. Dufaux started sprinting
from 1k out and won by 10 seconds. cyclingnews.comromandie98.htmlOpen ↗
He didn't even hide that he was that much stronger than anyone else. It would have been the
equivalent of someone coming into the final sprint of MSR or P-R and winning by 50 bike lengths.

Quoted message said:Armstrong tour wins. Most dominant performance, like an 85 domination factor and then a good 75%
doping factor only nets him a 160 total score. So in summary, really one is going to be hard pressed to come up with something as good as 1997
Tour of Romandy.

Quoted message said:True, but Mr. Drugs was MOST DOPED. And most crazy with his doping. Maybe it also simply worked
the best for him, but it went to his head. I'd say that each sport and each nation's approach is
likely a bit different.Interesting that this year after that big doping scare, the finishing order in XC changed a lot.
The US darn near medaled several times. Our best results in decades. Our best diversity of
results ever: several skiers medaled or nearly medaled at various WC events, even across a
couple disciplines (XC and Combined).Keep in mind the US skiers got to live at the 6000 feet altitide as much as they needed while some
European teams did not, and it is rare for a WC XC ski race to be at that high altitude. The
Americans got huge crowd support at each event. It was a solid wall of noise everytime they were
climbing. I was there-great fun.
No, the US did great THIS year, over in Europe! AFTER the dopers were evicted and scared off.
We did OK in SLC, on our home court, but the dopers went nuts. Mr. Drugs went like he was born and
raised on Mt. Everest. What altitude?

What drugs were they taking? Were those drugs banned?

JJK had such good longevity that if she was a user, it was in moderation.
FloJo was much more egregious. The year before, she wasn't even our best sprinter (that would be
Evely Ashford). She looked completely different, shattered records while cruising the last 10 meters
with her arms in the air, retired after a few months of this and it still killed her.

In athletics/track-and-field, how about the "Ma's Army" Chinese women distance runners in 1993?
I remember [censored] Junxia smashing the 10,000m WR, with her second-half split bettering the existing
5,000m WR. Lots of funny media stories about drinking turtle blood.
