good for you! I must say I try to avoid Devon due to the rampant commercialism in much of the county. I have heard about the Clovelly scam from some colleagues at work;I think if you are prepared to park along the coast you can walk along the coast path for nothing (same as at Land's End AFAIK). There is also a waterfall in Dartmoor like this; you can park in the village and use the footpath to get there but the actual road near the falls is all double yellow lines and you have to pay to get in the car park. Is London also the only capital city in the world where you have to pay to go into the cathedral (St Paul's)? What about cycling to Clovelly?
I think if you are prepared to park along the coast you can walk along the coast path for nothing (same as at Land's End AFAIK).
They've ruined Land's End. The [censored]. It's an utter disgrace. Walking along from Sennen is the only way to see it now. Or just go to Cape Cornwall instead - much prettier and seemingly not on the average tourist must-do checklist.

On th paying for access front, some clown is trying to con £2 pp to get to Neist Point on Skye. No obligation to pay as 1) He did not create Neist Point and 2) He does not own it.
