Last year, I saw a woman in the bathrooms of A-Basin putting on makeup before
the lifts started. Now, at Vail, sure, but A-Basin, which takes the "resort"
right out of "ski resort"? Just plain odd.

frankly kind of shocked. it's kind of an unusual sight where I'm from.

think I had a mascara once but it was so long ago I don't remember.

I had the same thought. Most of the time, you can't see face of the women I
ski with anyway (helmet, goggles, collar/neck gaitor).
I do occasionally see some poor girl who had tried to go out on a powder day
with makeup and fancy hair back at the lodge looking like some sort of
nightmarish claymation character. That's always good for a laugh.

depends on your view ;-) my view of things, is it's pretty good. I
don't mind the eye candy too much, just wish some of them were more my
age. hell I'm entering my 3rd decade, they should at least be somewhere
into their 2nd.

I mostly board in So Cal and sometimes No.Cal (Mammoth, Tahoe). once in
a while Utah or elsewhere, but not every year...
