I am pretty happy with my latest Strada setup. It looks pretty clean considering that I am carrying a frame morph pump, 2 spare tubes, tools and a water bladder. I made a nylon bag, rolled it up and used velcro to attach it to the bottle cages. The pump keeps the whole thing straight.
I am glad to see that this group seems to be getting back on track. The best way to keep it that way is to COMPLETLY IGNORE people that post off subject. Those that respond to them are every bit as guilty. Just a comment. Please don't comment about this comment and turn this thread into anything not related to the bike! Keep it about the bikes!!!!

I can say with much certainty that Bill paid a lot less than $3000 for his Strada, as the list price was barely more than half that amount at the time of purchase.
You really should refrain from making foolish statements like the one above - although it did provide me with a good laugh since I KNOW your accusation is way off base.
I can climb hills better these days, but I think it is the "engine". I really don't think the climbing characteristics of the 3 bikes are that much different. Comfort is a whole different story. The Strada is much more comfortable for me. I am the poster child for R-Butt and the laid back seat really helps. I also like the arm position with the Strada.

I quick check of the Bacchetta web page indicates that the Strada is not the top of the line which I thought it was. However, other bikes by this company cost even more than $3000. The Aero Basso would be for you as it ONLY costs $3,850. My God! They are practically giving it away, aren't they? You had better hurry before they are all sold out.

In this case I had knowledge that you could not reasonably be expected to have known. You accusation of Bill being an idiot for paying $3000 for a Strada only makes you look foolish because of course in real life Bill did no such thing.
The Strada is the first 'bent I have owned that I didn't need the Roho for acceptable comfort. It would be more comfortable with it, but it makes me sit higher and weighs quite a bit.
