Yes, it's the Ordnace Survey of Ireland (sorry, but it is!!) and they
cover the whole place (Northern & the Republic) on 89 sheets at 1:50,
000 know as "Discovery" Series. At least, they were when I went there in
    '98...

    hth,

Going to county mayo on the west coast, so would be interested in mayo &
    surrounding counties.

Yes, OS of Ireland. Or Suirbheireacht Ordanais na hEireann.

From various cycling trips to Eire I have 250,000 tourist ("What to see
    and do"😉, half-inch with a very old-fashioned look to them, and 50,000
"Discovery Series" that look modern digital. To the best of my
recollection I bought all of them in Ireland, but if I wanted to get
them in advance I'd try http://www.map-world.co.uk/ (just a happy
    customer).

    http://www.osi.ie

The County Mayo ones are here:

They are pretty good, used one for some hillwalking in Kerry last week.

For cycling, you may find pages from the AA Road Atlas adequate:

We used it for confluence hunting and it appeared pretty dependable:
