  1. Anyone ever experience a broken seat post bolt while riding?

Boy, let me tell you, it is not fun at all. For whatever reason, my seat post bolt decided to snap while riding. I fell off the back, slamming my rear onto the tire. Some how, during the whole event, I also smashed the inner part of my left knee on something and also my inner-mid portion of my left calf. Ouchy!!

Just wondering how many others were so unfortunate.

this happend to me too. it was a manufacturing problem because i'm only 72kg. since this happend, i only ride seatposts with two screws and i regularly check them.

  3. Yea, I bought a Thompson Elite seat post now. Should hold up a lot better than the other one that came with the bike.
