Yep, it was kinda cool. I heard that there weren't

    A: Top-posters.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on Usenet?

  7. I've looked at the exhibitor list on the Bicycling Australia website and it doesn't seem to be anything that spectacular. Usual Giants, Treks, Shimano's etc. Leggera is going to be there - I'm interested in their product. Same goes with Orbea. But not interested in much else. De Grandi may be an interesting stand as well with all their Italian stuff.

are there bargains to be had at these shows or is it mainly just
manufacturers showing off their new gear?

What times? We here at YarraBUG, Stall C9 haven't hear anything from you yet, someone from BBUG forwarding on the roster emails?

Anyway, come along to the BUG's & Clubs section & visit us at the YarraBUG stall, printing off stuff as I type... 😄

I'll probably take a look on Saturday.

I didn't go to the last one here in 2002 but I went to the 2000 show. Was
not bad at all. Lots of stuff to see.
It was just after the Sydney Olympics and Brett Aitken was there at the
Avanti display signing posters etc. At the time I thought this was pretty
good meeting an Olympic Hero, but have since come to realise that these
people we put up there on pedestals are just normal people like us. They
just train harder and train more.

  16. I must say, the bike show was better than I thought it would be. They had all the good stuff there. Didn't win the door prize - oh well. Saw the new Bianchi 928 L which I really liked. Checked out the trials demonstration - those guys are awesome.

Ryan Leech was the only reason I wanted to go in...
After racing though, I found my true desire was to
fall down on the couch and eat stuff.. :-)
