spd pedal and shoelace

Tuck your shoelaces in, or get shoes with a velcro/ratchet fitting?

Actually, there is a very simple solution. One I would think, you
would have thought of, after the first fall. Oh well.

Anyway, after you tie them , take the loose laces and stuff them under
the criss crossed laces, about half way down. Weave them in, so that
they will stay there, until you are ready to take the shoes off. Or
you can stuff them inside the shoe, but this can be uncomfortable,
because you will feel them in there.

Shorter shoelaces, and tuck them in.

Shoe sale button on right side. Numerous spd compatible shoes w/ velco
closures on sale. Much better than risking lace wrap IMO.

on some of the shoes with laces, there is a small loop on the outer side
of the shoe - you can see in:

the loop is close to the heel (little above and on the outer side too) -
when i ride this shoe, i put the ends of the laces in them and they do
not bother me at all.
