  1. Good afternoon-

Over the past five months a group of us have been working to get sponsorship
for a new pro women's road racing team. After a few hundred phone calls,
~100 proposals sent out, and a few meetings, we thought we had two sponsors
lined up; they both fell through last week.

We're on a very short time frame to get our team sponsored; we need to sign
our riders soon, and then follow that up with planing, staffing and working
    with equipment sponsors.

Our goal is to bring a strong new pro squad to women's cycling, but need a
sponsor to pull it off. We've contacted corporations from Columbia
Sportswear to Krispy Kreme, and are starting back at the beginning again.
At this point we need a direct company conenction - Can you help? If you are
either in a position to sponsor a pro women's team, or know someone in the
corporate world involved with marketing, please let us know - we will
actively pursue any leads you provide.

Posting to RBR was a last resort; not something we'd usually do in a
sponsorhsip efort, but we're very short on time and are pursuing every
avenue for sponsorhip. I hope one of you can help us. Contact me directly at
    [email hidden] with any leads.

    Thank you,

  2. Do you expect real advice here in the rbr romper room. Hopefully, private
    e-mails will be serious.
