I can't find the crank legnth for my 58" 1500, and what is the steerer tube size 1 or 1-1/8? It would be good to find a site that has these answers so i don't have to bother everyone with newb questions.
Thanks and sorry for the newbie.

Thanks and sorry for the newbie. The crank length should be engraved or stamped on the inside of the crankarms. Other wise, just measure it.....it's the distance from the centre of the crank bolt to the centre of the pedal spindle.
If you take your stem off, you can meaure the diameter of your steerer....or ride to your LBS and they can tell you.

If the above advice doesn't work, contact Trek via the website email address. I contacted them with a question and they were very prompt to reply and gave me the info on my bike that I had requested.
