  1. For the life of me I can not understand the negative anamosity to my sons
running. He is the quarterback of his football team which is where I learned
of his natural running ability. He also has such a fastball that his
baseball coach wouldn't let him throw to the other members of the team. He
scored 58 goals in 13 soccer games winning every one of them for his team
(undefeated). His doctor sees nothing wrong with his running or playing
football. In every race we have ever run we pass some other runner who has
stopped to walk. After this they begin to run again at least for the moment.
This reasoning is clear as no one wishes to be beaten by a child. Yet this
child has talent to spare at every sport he has ever tried. In his last race
he beat 66 percent of the total runners taking first place in the twelve and
under group. People shook his hand afterwards took his picture ask where we
bought his shoes. He has had two standing ovations, one from a high school
class and the other at his 10k finish (57 minutes). runners are in my
opinion a fine, friendly and excellent group of people to be around. Except
for the jealous people with bad feet who seem to inhabit this imagionary
running place of expertise. So hit the road and if you try hard enough you
might just be able to catch little Jimmy. Thanks to all who have given my
son and my family such positive feedback. You are worth the world to us. As
for the rest of you I sincerely hope you can get over your anger. Life is
    too short to be angry.

  2. Be a proud papa and ignore the fake Bill Rodgers. You have a right to
    be proud, lad.

The animosity is toward your son's troll father.
