I got a new laptop the other week and when I set up my
newsreader I checked out rec.running for the first time in
a long, long time without a filter. It's like a different world!
100's of posts a day instead of 20. I noticed the trolls talk
a lot to each other now, too. It was all inane rubbish.

If I was new to computers and came across this group now,
with no idea of how to filter it, I think I'd give up.
