  1. Hello.
Lately i discovered a few exercises aimed at improving vertical leap,
(I know this forum is for running, but i figured runners should know
    something about recovery)
they seem to me to be real good, (i think the most effecient one is
the jump squads), but i saw in various web sites (i can't afford
an actual human fitness coach) that it is recommneded not to do
these sort of exercise more than 2 times a week, since they require
    long recovery time.
well yesterday i did my first session of these drills, and while i
felt i was realy working hard and effectively, i woke up this morning
absolutly fresh, nothing sored as i would except after a real hard
workout. I feel like i can recover quite fast from this workout,
and can do at least one every other day (maybe even every day)
How can I tell what is the time that i realy need to recover ?
I mean this must vary from noe person to another doesn't it?
    Thanks,
    Oded.

You will get less soreness as you adapt. I don't see any problem with
doing it more than 2x/week. As you adapt, you could work up to 5 or 6
times a week, and indeed, with such a complex movement, training very
    frequently could help considerably.

However, I'd recommend alternating hard days with easier days -- don't
go all out every day. Make every second day a relatively easy session.

    Cheers,

This is EXACTLY what I told you about that "backdoor loving" we have
    going on Donnie.

    Cheers,

Agreed! Extra lube every other day. Gotcha.

Yes, you might "feel" that way ... but, the injury to your body is very likely
in places that have very poor nerve supply. By the time you feel it ... you
will have caused an injury that will last 12 months to a lifetime ...

Butt i like it rough Doug. I know it's tough on an old guy like you,
but I like it without lube.
