You think you've got it bad. In the Southern hemisphere, the hot season is
approaching. Heat is much harder to run in than cold.

    PS I'm in Antartica

When I lived in Florida I would turn on the car heater in the fall
when the temps dropped into the low 70s.

It depends on what you're used to. That might sound extreme but
at the same time I would go on 10 mile runs in the summer
afternoon sun. Today that would kill me - a few days ago I was
running around in a tee-shirt and thought temps in the 40s were
only "cool," but not really worth pulling out a sweatshirt.

It certainly does. Having lived in Flagstaff for quite a number of
years, it was not uncommon for the temps to drop into the (-10F) range.
It's also not that uncommon for snow flurries to develop around Memorial
Day - conversely the temps rarely exceed 90F during the summer either.

  9. After many years, daily running becomes an "urge" like eating, sleeping, etc.
    You get used to it.

  10. That's weird, because your post is having the same effect on
    m...........zzzzzzzzzzzz.
