Hi,
I'm trying to work out what RAB sleeping bag I've got, so that I can
find the spec's online and compare it properly with what's currently
available. I'm mainly wondering how much smaller the new,
ultra-lightweight ones will pack up, and then how much lighter they
are.
I bought it about 7+ years ago, and it was said to be just about as
light etc as it was possible to get at the time. I can't remember what
I paid, but I do remember that it felt v. expensive and I told myself
it would last for years and was therefore a great investment etc etc
:-)
There's a label inside which, frustratingly, doesn't seem to give a
model name, but it confirms a pertex outer and a goose down filling. I
think it says fill weight '500', but that part is written in by hand
in blue biro and the 5 has smudged a little bit. It *could* say '1500'
but it doesn't weigh much so presumably not...
The bag is black on the outside and an attractive light purple on the
inside.
It may be that someone will recognise it from the description, but if
not then do you know if there's some other identifying mark on RAB
bags that I've overlooked just now? I couldn't see another label, but
I've overlooked the obvious before...
Thanks for any help.
Best wishes,
