Only recently discovered uk.rec.walking. Interested to see the
occasional postings reg trig points. There is a Yahoo Group I help
manage, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/trigonomy.

Should emphasise that it is not a 'bagging' site, but is more to do
with studying the history and function of the pre-GPS triangulation
and levelling (height measuring) networks of the British Isles.
* Currently members of the group are creating a list of trig points
marked on Irish maps - 80% complete, but struggling with the
southernmost part of Ireland. If anyone has 1:50000 maps of this area
please see http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/trigonomy/files/readme.txt
