Hi everyone,
I use fitday for now several month and I must say that it *is* thanks to
that site that I lost my 20 latest pounds.
As many of you already know when LCing, calorie counts. Indeed.
It is very hard to put on weight when doing LC, but it is very hard to
lose some if calorie intake is not controlled.
Recently, I noticed something interesting.
In fitday, when you go to "reports/am I burning the calorie I eat", you
get an interesting chart. And guess what: evrytime, my weight starts to
go down when the "past week" chart shows a defficit of 600 cal in my
energy intake.
The scale really shows intersting loss when the deficit is more than
1000 cal.
It reinforces the telling that in order to lose weight, you need to get
about (10 to 12 times your weight in lbs) calories on average.
So now, I know that if my "past week" average intake is about 2000 cal,
I lost 2 pounds. If my "past 2 week" average intake is still 2000 cal, I
may well have lost 4 pounds, and so on....
Never failed since I noticed it.
Time to throw away the scale ? 🙂
