Did you install the latest DivX codec (and player) first? The free DivX
player (2.6 is the latest version) plays it without trouble. Actually,
we can name players that work all we want, they still won't work for you
unless you have the right codec installed.

Try opening the file with GSpot from
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/download.html It's a tool that shows
which video and audio codecs are on your system and which are compatible
with the .avi file.

It is amusing how much value people put in what Tyler (or anyone else for that matter) says on TV. Experience learned that people can be very convincing and sincere when they need be. I'm really sorry... but whatever Tyler says doesn't convince me one way or the other.

On a somewhat related note... I think a lot of dopers are convinced they are "Innocent"... victims of the sport or of their "cheating competitors". If everyone uses, it can't be called cheating, right? Or if you take some THG to recover from an injury, it is just speeding up recovery, not cheating, right? This makes them so sincere.

Yeh I read the formats again and realised what I hadn't done.
Downloaded DivX and installed last night and it all ran sweetly, thanks
for the service. I've pout the DivX installer on a CD with the AVI for
the boys in the bike shop. They'll probably complain that the sound is
scrambled...although several of them have raced in Belgium so they might
be able to work something out...
