Do any of you remember that in the last twenty years, three of the last five
presidential elections went to a TEXAN?
No need to worry about the future of this nation. It's doing just fine.

There are 1282 (and counting) Americans who won't be in that future.
That worries me.

Yeah, but we can drive our Escalades, Excursions and H2's because of their
service. That has to stand for something, right? Also, we raised the debt
ceiling to record levels. That is good, we have more credit to put off
paying our debt, so our children can pay instead. This is good, so we don't
need to worry about it now since we don't care about "pay as we go". Lord
knows we wouldn't want to have a surplus like when a non-Texan was in
office. We are a stand alone government and could care less about our
allies. This is good because we show how strong we are and could care less
about foreign policy now that we adopted our new one called Yeehaw!!!
Happy holidays!

JC,
Don't you ever get tired of repeating the same dribble over and over and
over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
Here's a quarter, buy youself a friend.

Whatever happened to such jewels as:
"Don't be rude when you post!"
"Respect others, just because it's the right thing to do." JMHO
are you serious?

What's wrong with people that they they have to make off topic posts in
newsgroups where they know
about half the people are going to strongly disagree with them? The
election is over, grow up and get
over it.

Hypocrite. You make a career out of doing just that.
Since it hasn't occurred to you, silence in the face of perceived
wrong equals assent. It equals complicity.

He's counting elections, not presidents. He counts both Bushes as
Texans. Bush Jr. twice, Bush Sr. once.

No, I'm not a hypocrite. I only make my posts after some jerk like the
OP starts the off topic post and then some others, like you, pile on.
I'd like you to show me a single political thread I ever started in the
newsgroup.

I don't think either one of them are Texans. George W went to junior
high---one year, IIRC, in Texas and that's all.

You said nothing about *starting* off topic political threads. You
stated that your problem was with people who *make* them. I added
your post back in to remind you of what you wrote. You do just what
you complained of often, and I'll be damned if you don't still bash
Clinton YEARS after he's retired. I don't see you getting over
*that*.
Get your head out of your ass. You're not licensed to do

Being in the oil front line myself....yes, of course I am serious. Oil
drives our economy, we need more supply. Iraq is easy to topple and 9/11
was Bush's window to do so. This is a non-issue. Bush can't just come out
and say he is there for oil and using our military as a bunch of pawns, but
that is what he is doing. It happens all the time. Kerry would have done
the same thing. I don't think Gore would have. It is too bad he didn't get
in, but the "good ol' boys" are at the helm. The rich are going to get
richer and the middle class is falling little by little. I suggest you try
and be on the rich side of this equation. If you fall in the poor category,
that will not be good.
Enjoy, Glitter Girl,
Curt
