Alternative form of biking? I guess that depends on how you define
MTBiking. I remember as a kid, riding trails and jumping berms in the woods
near my house. Of course that was in Cape May, NJ so to say that was
"MTBiking" may be a bit of a stretch!! I was just riding my bike. Sure was
fun though...............

isn't mountain biking according to their own narrow view?
These are the same people who when confronted that their own posts

Safety Bicycle was first invented? Yeah chum, that's before "purists"

mountain biking defined literally means riding a mountain bike in the
mountains of a trail? Do you realize you contradicted yourself in
naming other "disciplines" of bicycling that have names other than
"mountain biking"? Check out a definition of bmx and see just how
close that [censored] yu call "alternative forms" is to bmx than mountain
biking in a pure sense.

I am 36. Any form of self expression/biking is bigger than the definitons
you or me put on them. Ok ok you are a hostile guy for some reason. I hope
you find what you are looking for... I really do I am not trying to

some pros (learn from ;-) and ride all over the world. When I saw the rock
on pics I thought hey they aren't that impressive but good for him he is out

Got it. Maybe it is about manufacturing conflict so he can purge his
interneal dilema/problems while his proposed semantics based solution allows
his ego/conscious mind to feel better thereby convincing himself that the
real problem IS everyone else. Even though this manufactured conflict
steeped in semantics seems to work for his conscious/ego it actually erodes
the unconscious issues/personal problems. Thereby making him need to go
through the cycle again and again and again. That would make one very
angry.

See the turning the other cheeck thing sometimes works wonders with this
kind of thing. "Sometimes" people have the ability to empathise and realize
the truth about their actions.

this is alt.mountain-bike and not alt.circus-freaks.

If Angry Man rode that indoor park JD would congratulate him on a job well

Mountain Biking is not a new concept. People have been riding off-road
since the advent of the bicycle, in reviewing the history of mountain
