I live in Surrey - near to Walton on Thames. I'm looking for people to do long rides or any training with over the weekends... Ideally early moring rides anybody know local clubs or packs that ride in the area? Anybody want to go riding?

Hi there,
I live in West Clandon which is half way between Walton and Guildford.
I'm not great for early mornings but weekends are good for me.
I am a member of the Charlotteville Cycling Club, and very occasionally ride with them on a sunday morning. They meet at the Spectrum, Guildford and leave at 9.15am. I've put their URL below. Very friendly, helpful people. -
hi i'm also a member of Charlottleville also, i live in old woking. charlottville are a great bunch of people that go cycling on sundays very helpful, normally do about 45mile rides. You could come down to one of the socials that we have in old woking, the address is on the website and the club members are very willing to talk to you. As there is 150 members from around the surrey area it shouldn't be that hard to find a riding partner. Afraid i would be to slow for you as i'm only 14

Hi Josh,
good to see you on the forums, I gave you some cycling shoes the other day, and was wondering if they fitted OK?
Got back a couple of hours ago from the club run which went to the time trial on the Bently bypass H10/8 which had a fancy dress theme. There was a good turn out, the sun was shining but there was a cold NE wind. Have a good Xmas mate!
Andy.
PS: if you can keep up like you did over the Surrey hills 3 weeks ago, I will be happy to ride with you anytime, besides, riding fast aint everything! -
Yer, thanks alot for the shoes.
They fit really well. I went out the other morning and my feet got frozen so i have invested in a pair of altura strech booties. I forgot about the run that you went on, but i will be coming on mon. see you there josh -
Josh, thanks for the reminder that it's the 27/12, I would have gone down to the spectrum on the sunday morning (eeeee-ooorr):o . The overshoes are a must for winter riding they keep the rain out too, but it does also mean your feet will be cool in the warmer months😄 . By the way if you like these forums the C+ forum is pretty good too, the link is below. See ya soon!
