I just bought some beautiful Avocet road cranks on ebay. What BB do I need to use? (Cranks will be set up as a double chainring, frame is English threaded.)
I have a 115mm "OFMEGA 68.C" spindle whose measurements are 27, 56, 32mm. I think that would work, but I don't have the cups.
That's the right spindle; I have it installed with my Avocet cranks. OFMEGA made Avocet cranks. Just find some thin wall cups (Sugino? Stronglight? Ofmega? ;-)) and you're good to go.
BTW, my English threaded Ofmega cups are marked in millimeters. Instead of "1.37x24tpi", they're "34.8 X 24 F." The fixed cup also has an "S" (marks the left hand thread in Italian).
