I'll second that - I did the Meru/Kilimajaro trip in Oct 2003, and a
1-week Winter Skills course in Glencoe in March 2004. I have friends
who have done Himalayan trips with them too.They are not cheap but they are professional - which is all that
matters really. After all they don't offer anything that you couldn't
arrange for yourself (transport, accommodation, guides/porters as
appropriate, food supplies, permits, etc etc) - but unless you have
time and experience you probably want to pay someone to organise it
for you, and JG seem to be among the best in the business.--
