    || Is anyone who says things like "obesity is caused predominantly by
    || overeating" by definition a Troll ?
    ||

Someone like Mu who consistently and purposely crossposts anti-low carb
propoganda to a low-carb diet support group is, indeed, a troll by
    definition.

The problem with that definition is that there is an implicit
assumption along the lines of the logic of a religious cult that
anyone calling into doubt the one true word of Atkins is a heretic.

LOL. So true. I've been called a troll myself, more than once, for
daring to mention that I don't lose any more. Keep flat blood sugars
yes, sort out a lot of general health problems yes, feel better yes,
lose weight no. This makes me a troll, apparently, to some.

And I would take advice from anyone, however heretical, if it helped me
fix this... because orthodoxy sure hasn't.

If such a person posted anti-Atkins posts in a group called "Atkins is an
idiot," he would not be trolling; it would be in keeping with the
newsgroup.. To post the same thing in an Atkins support group is indeed
troll behaviour. This seems to me to be obvious.

It has been suggested several times to Mu and to Chung that they start their
own 2PD diet newsgroup, but they won't do that. They prefer to annoy and
disrupt other newsgroup. They are not interested at all in promioting their
diet; they are more interested in causing conflict in newsgroups that have
nothing to do with their subject.

"You see anyone else talking about simply retarding food volumes around
here. Nada. You see anyone who has even TRIED the 2PDiet. Nada. MOF,
they treated Chung like [censored] and he was ready to be of assistance to
this group. Got any other cardiologists who would give up their time
    and money like that? Nada.

To say the least, you folks are among my least favorite and our group
quite enjoys the banter, pointing out all your BS and watching you
fail over and over and over again.

You deserve what you get and you get what you deserve."

I haven't noticed any 2PD posts lately, though I admit I'm not exactly
    keeping up.

Here's my ha'porth, for what it's worth (sod all, probably): I believe
that Mu means well, and has a good heart. I don't care that he can be
somewhat abrasive; take what's useful and leave the rest. He's worth
    listening to sometimes :-)

Do you remember cowboy? He was rude, abrasive, hackle-raising,
unsympathetic and anti-Atkins. He also was quite informative, and IMHO
    an asset to this group.

    Oh.

Okay, that's not nice. But I haven't seen anything like that lately.

Gee, you're full of Christmas goose [censored] today, aren't you, peter. How is
life when you make it up as you go along disregarding the truth and facts
whenever they coddle your feeble little head?

You got time? Good. Go start us a newsgroup.

Or shut up. Either one suits me.

Stay around here awhile. The sheer insincerity will make you abrasive.
