A quick question, I have used vaseline in the past, but I see that it does mess up a shammy, so my question is which shammy creme is the best? and I remember reading about Udder Butter? But I can't seem to find the post. I have looked up Udder Butter and its for animals to prevent infection? I need a replacement for Vaseline, it's too nasty anyway.
Thanks

ThanksThe Assos stuff is good. It doesn't just butter you up: it also serves up a groovy tingly feeling.

I've used Chamois Butt'r, vaseline, and heavy hand lotion. I apply the stuff right to the skin and it doesn't seem to be a problem washing out.Recently picked up a jar of "Udderly Smooth". It feels similar to Butt'r and hand lotion, but haven't given it a test yet.

I have found the Assos to suit my needs best as well. It's not cheap, but I apply it sparingly so a container lasts quite a long time.
