  1. Hello all

I was just wondering what our lo carb favourites were.

At the moment my favourite meal is lightly smoked salmon fried in butter,
with mushrooms fried in butter with some fresh brocoli. I'm keeping
portions fairly small because I'm enjoying the minimal hunger of ketoses.

Here is to another year of loosing.

    It's "losing." Anyway, I've been on a salad kick lately. I use a pre-cut
salad mix as a base, add baby spinach, shredded mozzarella, a roma tomato,
sliced grilled chicken breast, and whichever salad dressing I'm in the mood
for. Lately it's been this tomato bacon dressing, 2g carbs per tablespoon.

I have only 3 flaws. My first flaw is thinking that I only have 3 flaws.

  4. Yup, I know. My spelling sucks, it's not the worst of my many faults.

  8. When the weather turned cold I found out that I could make chili with black
soybeans (not for induction) and top with cheese/sour cream . Man, I'm not
    missing the old life!

Black Soybeans are low carb and filling.
The hardest part was learning how to cook the dry soybeans- soak overnight
and they must be pressure cooked 5 min to soften

  13. Now back to best lo-carb meal!

Beef, pork or chicken braised with peppers and small onion ( use green
onions- less carbs). Deglaze pan with wine and heavy cream yum!

Since I've stayed at my current weight range lately (months), I'm going to
be more careful about the fat category. I don't think I'll get much lower
unless I do. How much olive oil and mayo have you been through this year?

how is 'vinaigrette' incorrect? the dictionary says it's fine.

    however, "your" should be "you're."
