Hi Groupies:
After all my moaning and groaning about snow, rain, riding and not
riding and if I can ride and will I ride and where I can ride and if I
ride a stationery bike will it be the same as a real bike and if 40 is
the same as 20 and if I should get technical or stay stupid or give up,
give in, give out, put up, shut up, go uphill, downhill or over the
hill....the bottom line is....
I JUST GOT BACK INTO MY SIZE 10 PANTS!!!!!!!!!!
I am trying for an 8 now. I can hardly breathe at the moment....but
damn it, I am wearing them.
Hey people, I know what is important in life. ;-) This exercise stuff
actually works.

feeling good I get- but size is just your size.Of course, to accomodate this concern manufactures have been changing
the size of sizes, or do they just change the labels!
So, congrats on feeling good but as too your size- what the heck. -

So, congrats on feeling good but as too your size- what the heck.Don't rain on my parade....these pants are a size 10. Who cares if
they are vanity sized. I was just wearing a 12 in the same style pants
before lunch. I ordered a 10 to hopefully get into them. They arrived
by UPS at lunch so I changed. So vanity sizing or not, I am in a
smaller size. And I feel good. Except for the fact that I can't
breathe. Give me some simple pleasures babe. I am not asking for much.

MaggieWell gee! just go out and buy a label and you can be in a size 4 and
still breathe.Do you also care about shoe size? Vanity sizing has hit women's shoes
big time.I guess I just feel that sozes are just there to give you an easier
shot at finding something that fits. Waht the label actually says seems
irrelevant if the item fits. And of course having a right size label
and il fitting garment makes little sense so.... . -

When I was a size 3, a hundred years ago, I wore the same size shoe.
HUGE!!!!!!!!!!

The Chinese had a solution for you :-) It's called something like "bind
to fit" and you too can have smaller feet. -

Losing weight is often a benefit of regular exercise. If you can't breathe
in them it doesn't count<g>Beverly

Isn't that the truth! I wore a size 10 when I was in school (somewhere in
the 50-60's range) and now that I'm much older and 20 pounds heavier I still
wear a size 10. Got to love those manufacturers<g>Beverly

I remember when I got back into biking, and after awhile, tried on my old
bikini -- and the bottoms fell down! Glad it was in the privacy of my
bedroom and not at the beach. You go girl!

Claire. Its wonderful to see results after alot of hard work. I
enjoyed wearing those size 10's and I didn't even mind not breathing.
If I look good this summer, I am buying the thing I've dreaded buying
for the past few summers......A New Bathing suit.
Thanks for the kudos Claire. Keep that bikini on.

Benjamin LewisNaw....I had attained by full height by the age of 10. If fact, I've lost
an inch as I've matured. Of course that's not unusual for many women. I
just hope I don't continue to shrink. I might have to buy a smaller bike.Dense? I hope you're talking muscles here<g> Yes, I probably have better
muscle tone now than I did in my younger days. I didn't lift weights until
after age 50.I still wear the same size due to the nice manufacturers who keep making the
clothes bigger and the size numbers smaller. I guess it's supposed to make
us feel better. As long as I don't scare people in my lycra shorts I don't
care what size they are..... I still wish they would size women's jeans
like they do the mens.Beverly

weight.Beside, you can still wear a smaller size....if you don't mind your legs
falling off.
