snow.....

Since you are talking about staying at Redfish, have you considered doing
Decker Flat as a ride or even more fun, Redfish to Decker Flat to Fisher Cr.
to Williams Cr. and then take the highway back to Redfish?
Beer and cooked meat never tasted so good after doing that loop.

I've heard of it, but never done it. Maybe you n I could go scout it out
earlier in the summer before the big weekend? I also need to hook up with
Justen who occasionally posts on this forum.

I was tentatively thinking of an itinerary like this: Thurs p.m. Nip and
Tuck or Elk Meadows; Fri a.m., Basin Creek and later that day, Fisher
Williams, then Saturday, down to Sun Valley and do Adams Gulch, Greenhorn,
Mahoney or whatever suits our fancy.

Another funny thing about camping at that elevation is you can freeze at
night and be hot enough to swim all day.

I'll see if any good campsites are still avail that weekend.

btw, met the famous Hick Huckster of NC/legal-trouble fame today. Intense,
personable, and an amazingly good rider.

Elk Meadows and Adams Gulch oh what a wonderful time I have had on those
trails... I would be more than happy to do some scouting and if I am not on
the East coast, I would enjoy riding with you folks.
