I used to own one and I was wondering if anyone else does and if so what do you think of them?
Here's some info on it.
It has Sora STI shifters
Tektro Rim brakes
Basic Shimano Derailluers ( they are worse than Sora Derailluers:o )
Alex DA-16 32-Hole rims
An Avenir Seat ( I think it has too much padding🙄 )
A Cromoly non-bladed fork:eek:
Kenda Kwest Tires
A Teardrop shaped downtube
It is made in China and has huge welds that look terrible.
Dan I think that that bike is a sorry excuse for a bike to me it is just burning material. I agree that you should not have got one but I will help you destroy it😄
I had a Red Nishiki Pro that was beautiful, and still have a Nishiki International that works great. Never had a minute's trouble out of either one. I upgraded the componets on it and gave it to my son to ride. I used to sell them a long time ago, but don't remember the Century.
The Nishiki Century is sold only through [censored]'s Sporting Goods.
I unfortounately bought it there ( last time I will make that mistake)
I bought my Trek at a Bike Shop though.
I think that the nishiki century is for young children or for people on a low budget. I think that my frien cyclist14 was smart for buying a trek
