14,567 last year, when I was working towards a vertical climbing
goal. Vertical feet for the year was 1,211,779. Saddle time was 1000
hours.

2005 goal: 5000 (and the big goal: cut about 4 hours off my Mt. Mitchell

Just plain riding: I had some trouble getting out early in the season
but ended up with something just shy of 1,200 miles.
So 2,700 miles.
