  1. I was thinking about cutting back on the soda I drank and drinking
more fruit juices because soda has too much sugar, but doesn't fruit
juice contain a lot of sugar too? Which one has more sugar?

  2. Yeah, both contain a lot of sugar. Just drink water and eat whole foods.

However, if you had to choose between the two, at least some fruit
juices aren't empty calories in the sense that there is often some
important vitamins found in the fruit juices (e.g., Vitamin C) and
you'll almost never find any vitamins in traditional soda pop, although
I think maybe that's changing. Still, though, what's best is whole
    foods.

I agree. But the amount of vitamins, minerals, etc., in juice compared the
whole fruit from which it came is enornmous. I definitely recommend whole
foods rather than juices. Personally, I drink water with caffience and
nutrasweet (aka diet soda). If I drank juice or regular soda, I would be two
    or three sizes bigger.

this depends on the kind of soda and the kind of fruit juice- both can have
    a quite high ammount-
usually soda has more sugar and of course a lot less vitamins though..

  6. Well let's say Pepsi. By the way is soda bad for you? Aside from the
    sugar.

  7. Yes! They carbonate it with phosphorus compounds that will throw your
mineral balances way out of wack.

Wrong. You will pee you excess phosphate. That is what kidneys are for.

I understand that the acid in soda is bad for your teeth.
