Oh man was it fun cycling in to work today or what? Blown over trees all along Beach road, traffic lights out of commission, traffic moving at a crawl...I LOVED it :-)
Got to work 5 minutes slower than normal only to find that fifty percent of the car and train bound commuters couldn't make it in today. OK so I got my feet wet cycling through the flood in front of Crown Casino in Clarendon Street, but that's what showers and a change of clothes are for.
Ride home was, if anything, the best ride home eva! I don't know what got in to me but I was averaging 10km/h faster than normal all the way home. How weird is that? -- Cheers Euan

I certainly enjoyed myself far more than any motorists I saw 🙂 It totally exhausted me for the rest of the day for some reason though. Weird.
I rode my MTB in Thrusday thinking that the Dirt Crits was still on @ westgate that evening (cancelled). Still got some singletrack in along the east side of Maribynong river on the way home detouring the fallen trees.
