dunno if you can buy LC icepops - I have seen Sugar-free ones. You can
always make your own LC popsicles by freezing whatever floats yer boat :o)

I don't know what Jello Light is - you should look on the packages for sugar
content. Is Jello Light a US product? I buy "Sugar-Free Jello", it is
sugar-free but has aspertame and gives me cravings so I really don't use it
much.

There was a recent thread where sombody here was going to try it.
Apparently there is a question as to whether Kool-Aid with artificial
sweetener will freeze properly. So, whoever that was, report!

Years (too many) ago, I liked frozen grape Kool-Aid better than any
store-bought popsicle. Don't need or want them any more though.

Does bourbon freeze?

You can buy sugar-free Popsicles in supermarkets around here, no
problem. They definitely use aspartame and acesulfane K as
sweeteners. (I can't tell for sure if that's all since the ingredients
list is partially under the pull-tab section of cardboard you remove
to open the box. Probably the full list is available on the web
somewhere.)

Regular Kool-Aid made with sugar makes a fine substitute for regular
Popsicles when frozen. The texture of these "Kool-Aid cubes" is fine.
Sugar-free Kool-Aid, however, has a problem with texture since it's
the sugar that softens things. As you might expect, sugar-free comes
out like a solid cube of ice. That's harder than most people want.

The suggestion was made in this newsgroup to add some unflavored
gelatin to the mix before freezing. I haven't tried it myself, since
the sugar-free Popsicles are convenient, have the right consistency
already and bring back childhood memories of those exact flavors.

In the discussions on making sugar-free ice cream, people reported
better texture from adding alcohol to the mix before freezing.
