Years ago a friend made this and I've lost the
recipe. It was mashed potato mixed with other ingredients with a cheese
filling and it was either baked or fried.

Subject: Nestle.s Chocolate chip bar cookies
The other recipe I am seeking is one that appeared in a woman's magazine
(Better Homes and Gardens, Womans Day, etc). I recall my mom used to make
these Chocolate chip bar cookies. The recipe doubled as any ad (with a
coupon I think) for Nestle's Chip. Though it is easy enough to recall the
recipe it is the topping that I forgot. The way the cookies are topped is
with a layer of melted chocolate and chopped peanuts. If you have any
knowledge of this or even the complete recipe I would enjoy hearing from
you!
