  1. Just checked <http://j.s-m.fotopic.net/> John's photograph site and it
    appears to have been emptied,
As he hasn't been posting for some time has he 'gone away' too?

Short-term memory loss must be a terrible thing to have to try to
contend with. As you replied to messages from both John
Spencer-Mallory (j.s-m) and his partner "Shel Livingstone" one can only
assume that you either suffer a severe memory loss problem or you enjoy
deliberately trying to wind up those who may have, ISTR, a differing
    opinion to your own.
You and others like you have sucessfully driven genuine and sincere
contributors (where are Paul Saunders, Peewiglet, Shel-Livingstone etc)
away from this NG. I hope you are now satisfied that your bigotry has
    'won'.
Such a shame as most contributors to this ng are genuinely interested
in getting the best out of their walking, to further their sport and
like to pass on their uncensored or non-PC beliefs and opinions.
Still we live in an imperfect world peopled by imperfect 'human'(?)
beings, so what can we expect?.

    Goodbye.

With that kind of attitude, no wonder people are leaving. I've been lurking
here for at least 6 weeks, to try and get some idea as regards preparation
and completing a charity walk along the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. Most people have
been kind and helpful, with useful information and tips etc.

To suggest I'm a troll is a bit silly really.

No Rob is absolutely correct. There are some thoroughly obnoxious people on
this newsgroup. Mike Clark, Rooney et al. Shame all the nice folk such as PW
are leaving. Think I'll be off too.

Shame about that Bob, but until such a time as I complete the walk I'm
doing, to be done in June, then I'm staying.

Ps Rooney, please change that sig, it's unnecessarily large, two/three lines
    is enough.

You haven't missed it yet! Someone was complaining recently that we

timing, up pop a couple of wa*kers to help us get one going!
