Last year I began recreationally riding and did not think much about pedaling form. I would like to get more serious this year and have been riding the Mag trainer all winter. I have worked on pedaling circles and have accomplished this very well at high cadences but find I lose form when I slow up. Anyone else find this problem and will I just get better I as work longer at it?

just don't worry about it. outside of making sure you cadence fits in a 'normal' range on the flat (~ 80 - 100 revs/min) it doesn't make any difference how you pedal. Trying to pull up on the recovery phase of the pedal cycle is just a waste of time. Better cyclists tend to push down more and pull up less.
