It was probably the lack of beer that got to me. That and an overcorrection
to the parallax error after viewing the parcours from the blimp.

Criterium International (1998) is a pretty big race ... Not quite as big and
important as Paris Nice, but it did rank up there as a 1.1 stage race IIRC.
