My cateye cordless 7 computer has stopped working correctly. While on the way out the computer counted the speed, distance, etc. I took the computer off the bike for about an hour. When I started my return trip, the computer did not automatically start back up again as it should. I took the computer off and then put back on ensuring that it was put in the bracket the correct way. The sensor and magnet were still in place and it did not appear that the sensor had been moved as it is securely fastened on the fork to prevent any movement up or down or to the sides. During the entire return trip, the computer remained in the powersave mode.
Could the problem be that I need a new battery for the sensor? If so, what kind would I need to get?
