Did this guy actaully have a backlight to not work. If he didnt have one I think he had a reason to be a little [censored]. I would get [censored] if someone came up and sarcastically told me my back light wasnt working when I didnt have one (which I always have in the dark car drivers cant see you in broad daylight ... why take the risk)
He did have what looked like a LED type lamp. My comment was a genuine one.

Fair Dinkum then mate. I only said this becuse I have been in that mans situation and gave a similar responce when My light was broken (smashed the bulb) and I needed to get to work I decided to risk it with 95% of the journey being off the road when after I had swerves several time's a guy nearly ran into me and proclamied you should get someself some light's . I swore at him (already [censored] at the fact that my light was broken and he clearly wasnt looking where he was going) then decided to stop and he pointed out his weedy little LED thing which was nearly dead and I pointed out that if everyone on the road had bothered to buy the same light as me he wouldnt have ran in to me as he would have seen me coming clearly. We both appologised and he pointed out that maplins might sell the bulb I was after they did ...well close enough and I never ran that gauntlet again.
Funny but despite riding the same route to work for 2 1/2 years I never saw him again perhaps his weedly little thing finally ran out of juice and he got flattened? Im not a huge fan of those LED things for the frount if your gonna have a light it may at well light up the path rather then barely having the power to illuminate the top of your frount wheel.
