Yes, Valhalla is the place to be after death. We would swim all day, die
during the workout, then wake from death, eat, drink mead, and screw all
night, and then be ready to swim again in the morning. Pretty much like
college.

Yes, Valhalla is the place to be after death. We would swim all day, die

go to class. All the buildings are just a little bit different and
there's never anyone there when I finally find the classroom.

In my dream I'm always panicked about falling way behind, but maybe I'm
dreaming about liberal arts and needn't worry.

Maybe you are misconstruing the term "liberal" in liberal arts as having
something to do with liberal politics.

My interpretation of your dream is that you feel inadequate for some
task you must complete to stay abreast of your colleagues. I recommend
jumping in with both feet. Or do a racing dive if your speedo isn't too
big around the waist.

Then what do you have against a liberal arts education? A liberal arts
education is one that emphasizes studies intended to provide general
knowledge and intellectual skills. That's pretty much what education is
supposed to provide. You wouldn't say a person was educated if he didn't
have a good general knowledge and good intellectual skills, would you?
I'm sure you meant to deride the concept of liberal arts education. Why?

You'll have to hire a professional to interpret that one.

I have nothing against a liberal arts education, but I went for a
professional degree. We spent very little time doing anything but
draughting, making models and worrying about deadlines. So your
description of college life doesn't resonate with me.

BTW, do you have to email these posts to me? I get plenty of spam as
