Kryptonite Exchange, how long is the wait?

I did it 3 months ago. Got an email saying that they were sending me a
UPS pack for me to put my lock in to return to them. I never got the
pack.

I did it last month, actually put the info on the website, and within
two weeks I was able to print out my ups lable, postage paid, I just
havn't put in the box yet.

It took awhile to get an email with a return label. Once I sent it in
it took probably two or three weeks to get a replacement.

I bet this dealt a blow to sales of Bic pens . . . . ;-)

E-mailed in november of Last year. Sent them another e-mail last month
and they said to be paitent. Got a return pac 2 weeks ago. Sent the
lock back and recieved the new lock last week. Worth the wait as the
lock was over 20 years old. and I never used it any more anyway. If
you need to rely on a lock you should buy one in the interim. They have
a long list of people ahead of you so be patient. They will get it to
you.

Or, provided your UPS label has already been issued, you can
call Kryptonite at (800)729-5625, menu option 3 and ask them to ship
you your lock in advance. They'll take your credit card info, and you
have 21 days in which to return your old lock.

Sounds like the label got lost in the mail. I'd recontact and see if
they can send a replacement label or set you up to print one out from
their website.

I just got mine Monday - started the process first week of
October. I think they finally read one of my long snitty faxes.

I just got mine Monday - started the process first week of
October. I think they finally read one of my long snitty faxes.

I submitted my request on the website in December, got my email
advising me to print the UPS tag from their website in late January,
and had the lock two weeks later. It was one of the most common
models; that may have helped speed the process. The replacement has a
peculiar design of flat key.

Being as how the pkging indicated the replacement lock was made in
China it was probably on a slow boat over here.
