Garmin Forerunner 201 question

I think it will give gird ref

Check out the garmin site- u can download the manual to check the details

I was trying to pick one up direct from the states at a "real" price rather
than the overinflated costs in the uk.
From what I've seen there's no spec differences - worth a thought?

Yes it will, but not very straightforwardly. You have to go to
'navigation'...'mark location' and then the current grid ref is shown.

Thanks for this, had found FAQs but not manuals. On reading them,as
you say, Forerunner won't do grid refs, just lat/long which isn't much
use...

No it won't. I've got a ForeRunner 301 and the best it will do is tell
you the latitude, longitude and altitude of any waypoints that you place.

The Forerunner is a great gadget for running and biking but if you want
it for navigation try the foretrex.
