  1. I am trying to get a replacement cable for the ABS-10 light set
Suppliers have a 2-3 week lead time.

Any body know whether I can use a different ABS cable set with the
    same set up ?

From what I have looked at on shop web sites, this is designed to have
interchangeable batteries, lamps etc, so you *should* be use cables
    from different abs lights.

I really am guessing here, but the lead *probably* uses DC power connectors,
which, along with some leads can be bought from some electric shops e.g.
    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=35906&TabID=1&source=15&WorldID=2&doy=9m4

Note this is a 2.5mm plug lead, and many other sizes exist including
2.1mm. You could also make up your own lead if needed, but you must get
the polarity of the connectors correct if it is used to charge the lights.
