Component Source for Frame Build Up

As a follow up, the term "build kit" is quite frequently used to
indicate "all the parts, except for the frame and fork, needed to go
from a frame to a working bike."

Sounds sort of similar to what I did back in 1998. I bought a
Waterford 1200 frame/fork from Gary Hobbs at GVH Bikes and also bought
the Chorus build kit from him too. Complete bike. And he installed
all the parts since I bought everything from him. Gary Hobbs is
recently deceased but the business is being run by someone else now.
Unsure when it will start back up under the new person. Check the
website. Other places that sell build kits are Colorado Cyclist and
Excel Sports. Or you can wait until you get a 20% off coupon code from
Performance or Nashbar and get everything from either of these places
for less than build kits from the other places. And of course your
local bike shop will have an account with Quality Bicycle Parts. And
QBP sells complete build kits of every Campagnolo or Shimano group.
You local bike shop can get these for you and install the stuff if you
want to pay for it.

I bought all of the parts for my Waterford from Lickton's and was pleased
with my experience. Their total price was significantly lower than anyone
else would offer. It was very nice to place my order with someone who
wanted to help and knows more than I do about bikes.
The total price I paid for the build "kit" was less than what Lickton's
sells parts for separately on their website.
