I believe it's an older Italian bike firm making bikes during the 80's. The name was bought by another company. Here is a blurb that I found online....

Rossin was established in 1974. At that time, the founder, Mr. Mario Rossin, an expert technician and welder, was personally overlooking the hand made production of a precious few jewels of bicycling. In 1992 the company was bought by a company called Finross (whose owners had founded Regina Cycles, Speed and Lema Sport). That raised the productivity without changing the quality standards of the hand made production.

I got nothing concrete when I tried a search on Regina or Finross.

I was very curious about what happened to Rossin because loved their bikes when I was young. As far as I was concerned, Rossins were amongst the "untouchables", along with all the other sexy Italian stuff.

Anyway, I looked EVERYWHERE, and only found this dead link

Thanks very much. I found that link too. Its just that one of my friends had got a Rossin Evolution frame and its really nice and light. He bought it really randomly (not in a shop). If any of you would know where on the net there sold or their site is please tell me. thanks

FYI, GVHbikes.com has a few Rossin steel frames for sale.

thanks very much for the info. its just I want to get into road cycling from scratch and want a road bike. I 've looked at so many different 'beginner' bikes. I just wondered about building up a bike starting a with a frame and I heard something about Rossin. What are there aluminium frames like?
