I have no personal experience with him, of course, except that he asked for some diner lingo, and then asked why crossposting is wrong. I hope he's cleaned up his act and tries to fit in. I am ashamed to admit that I think I like them better than the original.

Oh, no, Wavy - not Syd. Syd has some serious mental problems, ya know - although I would like very much to sit down and have a talk with him. No, it's a tribute band from Australia who calls themselves "Australian Pink Floyd". They are actually incredibly good, and faithfull to the original band - down to every single guitar lick. I saw Floyd once live - quite a good investment, IMO - but I have to tell ya - these guys are as close to the original as you could possibly imagine. The double-DVD set was only about 30 bucks - no, tell ya what I think it was closer to 20, but there was that shipping thing from Great Britain. They accepted my US Visa card with no problem. I would highly recommend that any true Floyd fan would add this to their collection.

When you post to a group such as, say, rec.food.cooking, and the subject of the post has something to do with food or whatever, people that are hanging out in alt.music.pink-floyd,alt.comedy.standup, and alt.drugs.pot don't really want to be bothered with what they would rightly consider off-topic BS. It's not fair to them, and it's considered to be extremely rude in Usenet - probably even more rude than posting in all CAPS, which is considered shouting. If you would please just trim your headers, Wavy to only include rec.food.cooking when you post here, I think you will find that there are a whole bunch of really good folks that hang out here. (No, that would be the folks who are overly-tolerant of an idiot like myself). And since this will absolutely be my last massive cross-post, to you guys in the Pink Floyd group - I ordered the Australian Pink Floyd Liverpool DVD set - it's awesome, and I highly recommend it. I guess I'm getting senile, but I like these guys better than the original.
